Who are The Voice Project? The Voice Project are a dedicated team who have the responsibility of listening to the views and opinions of families, parents, carers, children and young people who are part of Staffordshire County Council’s Families First Service. This includes Children’s Services, Local Support Teams, The Leaving Care Team, The Fostering Team, The Youth Offending Team and any other Staffordshire County Council Service that sits within the Families First Structure.
What does The Voice Project do?The Voice project use a variety of different methods to engage with families, children and young people to get their opinions on things such as leaflets, forms, new polices and service delivery.
We deliver monthly forums across the county of Staffordshire for young people to attend. The Voice Project also facilitates The Children in Care Council which meet twice monthly. These are to ensure that children and young people have a regular say on the services that work to support them and are able to have their views heard by the Corporate Parenting Panel, County Managers and Heads of Service.
