Processing solutions of the futureFiT ‒ the German trade association for industrial parts cleaning ‒ sees its initiative “QSREIN 4.0 ‒ Opportunities for Cleaning Technology” as a hub for future-oriented solutions. The dedicated area at parts2clean brings exhibitors and users of industrial cleaning technology together to discuss the practical solutions that will transform parts cleaning processes in the future. The topics range from innovative developments in chemical cleaning agents and processes to measuring and testing equipment, plant technology and customized process control for adaptive cleaning processes. The aim of the initiative is to offer a platform for discussions, R&D work and projects through to adaptive cleaning solu-tions. The focus is on the status of parts and components, the stipulated standards of cleanliness and how to achieve them by optimizing existing processes and developing efficient solutions for emerging tasks and problems.

Clean industrial parts – an overview of the entire process chainIrrespective of the workpiece, area of application and clean-ing process, it is necessary to view the entire process chain as a whole in order to meet specific standards of cleanliness reliably and efficiently. In view of the increasingly stringent standards of cleanliness, this will often involve clean room or sterile conditions.

The CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center) at parts2clean illus- trates this with a presentation that ranges from the pre- treatment stage to the cleaning of parts using an array of suitable chemical processes, cleaning baths and workpiece holders, as well as cleanliness checks and sterile packaging in clean room or sterile laboratory environments.
