The Municipal Buildings, a distinctive feature of the town,are grade II* listed and date back to the mid- nineteenthcentury.

The buildings are licensed for civil weddings and partnerships which can take place in one of three rooms.

Larger ceremonies can be held in the Corn Exchange, withseating available for up to 250 guests.

The Town Hall Ceremonies for up 120guests can take place inthe Town Hall with itsfine vaulted ceiling andoriel window.

The Council ChamberWith a capacity of 50 the historically-decorated CouncilChamber is ideal for the smallerceremony. The room features a fine display of Civic In-signia and wall plaques recording the Mayors of Dorch-ester and significant events since 1793.

The Town Hall and Council Chamber are on the first floor, and we have a lift for people who have difficultywith stairs.

You are able to holdall your celebrationsunder the one roof.Why not have yourceremony in theTown Hall and yourreception in theCorn Exchange, sit-uated on theground floor?
