went on oxygen due to her progressing pulmonary

returns to her home in Battle Creek and that medical

support will be exceptional;

t for rest and relaxation for Pastor Gary and Sue as

they vacation with family in California while awaiting

the birth of their 6th grandchild;

t for Denise VanBeek who will be moving to Seattle

on 1/10 to pursue a degree in Nursing;

t for all in our church family who have had recent

CHURCH VOLLEYBALL Church volleyball is starting up again this Tuesday at 7:00

p.m. at the church. All ages and all skill levels are invited to join us each Tuesday!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY Join the group this Wednesday evening at

7:00 p.m. as we continue “The Grace by Which We Stand” taught by Harold Kimbel.

The class meets in Room A-3 in the new addition.

LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT JANUARY 16 All Women are invited to dinner

at James Street Inn and games and snacks back at the church on Friday, January 16.

We’ll be meeting at the restaurant at 5:30 (dutch treat.) Sign up at the Women’s

Ministry Counter if you can attend. Questions, talk to Ginny Pete, Marge Jimmerson

or Judy Timmer.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY RESUMES ON JANUARY 18 The women’s study with

Kathy Molenkamp from Grace Bible College will start up again on Sunday night,

January 18, in the sanctuary from 6-8 p.m. The topic is “Biblical Truths about God,

Yourself and Others.” Plan to attend, invite your friends, and enjoy some great

fellowship and dessert following the study!

TWO CHOICES FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS STARTING JANUARY 25

Ladies: sign up at the women’s ministry counter to be part of a 12 week journey with

Beth Moore through what the Bible calls the fruit of the spirit entitled “Living

Beyond Yourself.” This is a video study and there will be a $10 charge for the work-

book. If you have questions or can help facilitate, talk to Sabrina Preikszas. The

second class offered for all is “Dawn of Civilization: A Biblical View of Earth’s

Earliest Empires” taught by Mike Cooke. Both classes will start on January 25 at

9:30 am.

FAMILY DINNER & WORSHIP NIGHT AT GRACE BIBLE FELLOWSHIP! We’re

partnering with Grace Bible Fellowship in Jenison on Sunday, January 25, at 6:00 p.m.

for a fun night with a “Chili Cookoff” and worship. Plan to make your favorite chili

recipe or bring a dish to pass. Sign up at the Growth & Outreach Counter.
