Chairman Message I am very happy to know that the Department of Computer Applications, K.S.R College of Engineer-

ing is releasing a department magazine “Resolution – 2015”. The magazine will aim at improve the stu- dents as well as the faculty society. It will motivate not only the quality of education but also offer more in- spiring to the students so that they could involve themselves in building the magazine by participating in various activities both in academic as well as extra curricular. The department has impressive infrastructure backed by the most contemporary lab equipped with highly sophisticated equipments are testimony to its uniqueness. The department has achieved various ranks at university level and also the students have been trained well towards industry recruitments and got placed in reputed companies. I wish “Resolution – 2015” for the success and hope it would motivate staffs and students to improve themselves and meet their accomplishment.

The Department was started in 2003 and it has grown excellently in academic and research work. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), AICTE. At present the department offers three years Master of Computer Applications with an annual intake of 180 students. It offers an outstanding opportunity for budding professional to

The department is equipped with state of the art computing and internet facilities (8 Mbps) and supported by experienced and well- qualified faculty members. The department has maintained an active interaction with the industries and professional bodies particularly with the Computer Society of India, IEEE and ISTE. More than 75% of the students have been placed in reputed IT companies through Placement Cell.

National Conference on "Emerging Issues in Computer Applications" EICA'15

The National Level Conference on “Emerging Issues in Computer Applications” EICA’15 was organized by department of Master of computer applications, K.S.R. College of Engineering, and Tiruchengode on 15.02.2015. Lion Lion Dr.K.S.Rangasamy, MJF – Founder and President, K.S.R. Educational Institutions delivered Chairman’s address. Mr.R.Srinivasan, Managing Trustee, appreciated the participants. Principal, Dr.K.Kaliannan delivered presidential address, he insisted the students to focus their effort towards new innovative research and contribute for the betterment of the society and reach good success in their career. The Chief Guest of the National Conference, Ms.Anuradha Biswas, CEO President, Pragat Solutions, Bangalore delivered an inspiring speech on “Research Issues in Health Care”. Head of the Department Dr.A.Subramani welcomed the gathering. Prof.V.M.Navaneethakumar, Conference Coordinator delivered the vote of thanks. The conference received nearly 100 papares out of which 85 papers were scrutinized and nearly 40 papers presented in the conference.

Computer Applications Association associated with the Department of Computer Applications is inaugurated on 8th August 2014. The Computer Applications Association (C2A) was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mrs.Mythili Ramesh, Chief Executive Officer, Next Wealth Entrepreneurs Private Limited, Bangalore. During her inaugural address, she highlighted the tremendous changes in the IT sector for the past 15 years. Also insisted the students must have an aesthetic mind to learn continuously. Lion Dr.K.S.Rangasamy, MJF-Founder and President K.S.R Educational Institutions delivered Chairman’s address and instructed the students to develop your skills and become an entrepreneur. Mr. R.Srinivasan, Managing Trustee addressed the gathering. Principal Dr.N.Rengarajan delivered presidential address outlined the importance of gaining domain knowledge by developing projects. The office bearers for the Computer Applications Association were introduced by the Association Coordinator Prof. K. Sankar. The computer applications association Secretary T.
