a) The above Police Recruitment Board shall strictly supervise/oversee/monitor the first three phases of recruitment (vizPhysical Endurance Test, Physical, Measurement Tests &Written Test), for the 5381 posts of constables, available inPolice Department, under direct recruitment which will be filledthrough the Transparent Recruitment Pr.ocess (TRP) , afterobserving of all procedural and codal formalities as prescribedby the Government. "

b) The Chairman of the Police Recruitment Board shall be atliberty to co-opt any officer (s) in its deliberations.

c) At the time of undertaking recruitment, atleast half the strengthof the above Board will be reckoned as quorum for the purposeof recruitment. However, the Chairman of the PoliceRecruitment Board shall always be part of the said quorum,except in emergent situations, in which case(s), the Chairmanshall nominate the senior -most Member, to be part of the saidquorum.
