目　的 Purpose

学校における子供の情報活用能力の育成に係る教育研究や本学の情報化に係る取組を推進することにより、本学の学生、教員及び地域の学校における情報活用能力の向上に寄与します。By promoting research related to the education and development of children's abilities to effectively use information and the endeavor to expand competence in telecommunication throughout the University, we will contribute to the understanding of and expertise in the application of information among our students, teachers, and at local schools.

情報基盤推進室Information infrastructure promotion room

目　的 Purpose

東日本大震災被災地における経験や教訓を活かし、教員を志す次世代の若者に震災を伝承するとともに、現職教員に対する研修を通じて「いのちを守り」「ともに生き抜く」防災教育を推進するとともに、その研究成果を日本全国および諸外国に発信します。

Based on the experience and lessons derived from 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, the Institute serves as a national hub where pre-service and in-serve teachers learn about the past disasters, and promote disaster risk reduction (DRR) education for future generations to acquire knowledge and skills to “protect own lives” and “survive together”. A variety of empirical research is conducted for the effective implementation of DRR, and DRR trainings and workshops are provided in collaborations with national and global partners.

小学校英語教育研究領域 English Language Education at Elementary Schools

小学校英語教育研究領域では、外国語活動の低年齢化・外国語の教科化に伴い、学校現場の多様な支援・研修の要請・要望に応えると同時に、活動実践の研究開発及び理論的研究、外国語活動・外国語と関連する国語教育、バイリンガル教育などとの研究交流を行い、小学校外国語（英語）教育の充実に寄与することを目的としています。With English becoming a compulsory subject in the upper grades of Japanese elementary schools and foreign language activities compulsory for middle grades, this Research Center for Elementary School English Education provides support for those involved in language education at the elementary school level. At the same time, researchers at the Center conduct studies related to Japanese education and bilingual education in order to assist in deepening theoretical and practical understanding of teaching English at elementary schools.

幼児教育（保幼小接続）研究領域 Early Childhood Education (for Smooth Transition through Nursery, Pre-school and Elementary School)

就学前保育・教育から小学校教育への効果的な連携・接続について研究することを目的としています。This area research for the effective cooperation and articulation between nursery, pre-school and elementary school education.

アドミッション・ポリシーの策定並びに実現のための調査、分析を行い、結果に基づいた入学者選抜方法の企画立案並びに入学者選抜の円滑な実施により、教職に就くための意欲、適性及び学力その他の基礎的な資質能力を有する優れた学生を継続的に確保し、今後の学校教育を担う優れた教員養成に寄与します。We will conduct surveys and analyses to establish our admissions policy. Based on the results, relevant entrant selection procedures will be developed and implemented to continuously secure outstanding students with the motivation, character, aptitude and other fundamental skills required for a teaching career. In this way, we will contribute to developing distinguished teachers who will be responsible for education in the future.
