The Sam A. Kessler Memorial Scholarship provides a $1,000 scholarship for a local law school student. This scholarship was established by friends of the late Sam A. Kessler.

The L. Allen Zorensky Fine Arts Loan Fund provides interest-free loans of up to $5,000 to students pursuing a fine arts degree from a recognized institution or fine arts program. As one of the nation's largest college financial aid programs in the country, the Horatio Alger National Scholarship Program is the only major scholarship effort that specifically assists high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. While many aid programs are directed primarily to recognizing academic achievement or leadership potential, the Horatio Alger program also seeks students who have a commitment to use their college degrees in service to others. A $750 scholarship is awarded to a student in each of MSBA's 17 regions. From that group the statewide winner is selected. Applicants are judged on the basis of academic performance, extracurricular activities and the quality of an essay.

Applicants must be US citizens, plan to attend a 2 year or 4 year accredited institution, have an interest in arts, education, environment, math, or science, demonstrate community service and involvement, indicate financial need, and submit an essay.

Recipients must be full-time college/university students pursuing an academic degree in an information technology field. The selection committee will choose the scholarship recipients on the basis of service to fellow IT students/professionals, scholastic ability, leadership potential and financial need. Exceptional service to fellow IT students/professionals play a major role in the selection process.

Students may begin their college career by entering into either a 2-or 4-year accredited in-state college/university, as long as they stay on track to complete a bachelor's degree program. The scholar could receive up to $20,000 over four years to help complete a bachelor's degree.

To apply for the scholarship the student must submit the completed application, resume, two letters of recommendation, and the completed essay questions. Applicant must show proof of enrollment to an institution of higher education before the scholarship will be awarded.

This need-based scholarship was established for students who are employed while attending school part-time. The Masonic Scholarship Fund of Missouri, Inc. proudly offers three different scholarships to Missouri high school students. These scholarships are available to students graduating this year from a Missouri high school, seeking to attend an accredited institution of higher education anywhere. The scholarships that are awarded are: Masonic Merit Scholarship - a $1,000.00/year scholarship available to students in any degree program. Ruth Lutes Bachmann Scholarship - a $1,000.00/year scholarship for students seeking a degree in the education or healthcare fields Samuel Smith Stewart Masonic Scholarship - an $8,000.00/year scholarship available to students in any degree program. The Academy for International Conflict Management and Peacebuilding is the education and training arm of the United States Institute of Peace and runs the National Peace Essay Contest based on the belief that questions about peace, justice, freedom, and security are vital to civic education. Each year over 1,100 students submit entries to the essay contest while thousands more participate in related writing and other classroom exercises in high schools around the country. First-place state winners receive scholarships and are invited to Washington for a five-day awards program. The Project 21 Underage Gaming Task Force was established by Harrah’s Entertainment in 1989 to address the issue of underage gambling. Project 21provides students an opportunity to disseminate their message by writing an article or creating a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling.

Applicants must be enrolled or accpeted for enrollment as a full time (12 credit hours) undergraduate student in a participating Missouri postsecondary school, and be a Missouri resident.

The scholarships are not limited to members of the Puerto Rican Society. The scholarships are granted to students that continue their education in a college, university or other institution of higher learning, whether for study at the undergraduate or graduate levels. InMarch, finalists are invited to participate in a weekend selectionprocess in Washington, D.C. at the expense of the RonBrown Scholar Fund. St. Johns Bank Excellence Program will award a total of three scholarships, worth $1,000 each, to qualifying candidates. Because St. Johns Bank has six locations; three in St. Louis County, and three in St. Charles County, two of the three scholarships will be split between the Francis Howell, Fort Zumwalt, St. Charles School Districts and the Pattonville, Ferguson/Florissant School District. The third scholarship will be available only to qualifying seniors attending Ritenour High School.

The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for golf caddies that is renewable for up to four years. Each year, more than 800 deserving caddies across the country attend college on a four-year scholarship from the Evans Scholars Foundation. Selected applicants must have a strong caddie record, excellent grades, outstanding character and demonstrated financial need.

Applicants must have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities; and demonstrate financial need. Individuals interested in applying must create an account to access scholarship materials.

The organization has available two (2) scholarships for multiple-birth students seeking initial enrollment in accredited post high school education or training. This annual gift from St. Louis Public School System provides financial aid to local high school students who plan to attend a UNCF member college or university. This scholarship is renewed annually. The GPA requirement increases to 3.3 after the sophomore year and 3.5 after the junior year.
