Whitman-Hanson Regional High School provides all students with a high- quality education in order to develop reflective, concerned citizens and contributing members of the global community.

Course Number: Title: Middle School Spanish 1A and 1B Grade: 7 and 8 # of Days:108Course Description

This course will emphasize the skills needed to learn the Spanish language—listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students will listen and respond to the teacher, to selected tapes or to each other in order to hear the spoken language and to practice pronunciation and accent. They will read conversations, answer questions orally and in writing, and do written exercises in order to learn Spanish sentence structure and the proper use of verbs. Various aspects of Hispanic culture will be introduced. This course addresses the Whitman-Hanson Student Expectations.
