MAX VALLEY SCHOOL CLASS – II

Dear students,

Summer vacation brings a change and excitement for children. Summer is fun, frolic, playing with friends, going for picnic, watching television and spend a little time in completing work and also exploring your creative self.

So these summers learn by doing:

• Practise of packing your school bag according to timetable. • Keep your room clean and well organized. • Go for a morning walk and explore your surroundings. • Don’t forget to spend time with your grandparents and help them. • Use these magic words: thank you, please, sorry and excuse me. • Cultivate reading habits. • Converse in English.

Please note:

• Revise the lessons/concepts of all subjects covered till now. • All subject homework to be kept in a decorative paper folder. • Submit your homework by 3rd July. • Homework assignments will be assessed and marks will be allotted

for the same.

ENGLISH:

1. Do one page writing practice in your writing book daily. 2. Make a wall hanging displaying common nouns and proper nouns. 3. Read some of your favorite stories every day to inculcate reading

habits.

HINDI:

1. Do one page of writing practice in your Hindi writing book daily. 2. Read one page from your text book daily.

MATHS:

1. Make your own table booklet (2-10). Also decorate it beautifully. 2. Prepare a beautiful chart displaying number names. 3. Draw different geometric shapes on A3 sheet. Also give examples.

E. V. S:

1. Make a chart displaying different types of plants (creepers, climbers, shrub, herbs, trees)

2. Adopt a sapling. Watch it growing every week. Click pictures of different stages and stick it in a scrap file.

3. Make a chart paper on Festivals of India.

ART AND CRAFT:

To inculcate the value of Recycling amongst the students: Choose some waste materials from your house and convert them into useful and Creative.
