We are excited to celebrate all of our dads on June 18th for Father’s Day! We are so thankful for all our fathers and the vital role they play in our families! This year, we will be making a donation to Family Promise in their honor. Family Promise helps meet the immediate needs for shelter, meals, and comprehensive support services for homeless families. We are thankful to partner with them as one of our local outreach ministries and to make a donation in honor of our Delaware Grace dads this year to bless families in our community!

Women’s summer bible study:

Sonsurf - Backyard Bible School:

We will be making certain that Ephesians 6:10-17 is “written on our hearts” by digging deeper into the Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer. Please sign-up on the Welcome Table in the lobby for 9:30am or 6:30pm. No childcare will be provided, so get creative and share childcare with a friend. We look forward to getting started June 13th!

Men’s breakfast – June 10th: All men are invited to join us on Saturday, June 10th @ 7:30am, for a Men’s Breakfast @ Delaware Grace. Invite some guy friends and family to join us for a morning of good food, fellowship, and prayer. We would love to see you there!

June Global Impact Partners:

Delaware Grace Family dinner:On June 11th @ 5:30pm, we will be having a Delaware Grace Family Dinner @ the Smith Park North Shelter. Please bring a dish to share, chairs or blankets, any lawn games you’d like, and your family! Also, please invite any friends or neighbors to join us for the evening. Delaware Grace will be providing plates, silverware, lemonade, and water. We are looking forward to a great night of family fellowship and fun at the park. See you there!!!

Their goal is to encourage British believers to lead studies, be a part of the worship service, and be involved in their communities through outreach. Tom also helps with leading the Encompass staff in Birmingham, as he is the director of ministry coaching for all of Encompass, providing ministry coaching for every deployed staff person across the globe.  He recently traveled to Cameroon to work with the 8 staff members there. The Barlows have two married daughters (Nicole, Anne) living in Indiana. Meagane is in her first year of study near London, studying theology and youth work. Pray specifically for the Frankley Church as they establish their first official list of church members and as they work through ministry plans for the next 12

Their focus is on growing group of British national leaders in the leadership. They currently disciple and support a helping them in the ongoing transition to full national to work alongside two Grace Brethren churches, young urbanites. In 2010, they moved to Birmingham focusing on church planting among post-Christian Their first 8 years were spent serving in London, they felt God was moving them to the UK in 2002. Barlow. El Salvador Partnership prayer group:EVERYONE is welcome to participate in our new prayer group for El Salvador. No matter if you sponsor a child at our partner church or simply wish to take time out to pray with others for the people and work God is doing there, we would love to have you! We will be meeting to intentionally pray and grow deeper in our partnership with Iglesia de Dios and our wonderful brothers and sisters in El Salvador. Each month, we will have a potluck dinner @ 2267 Dates St. from 5:30-7pm. Bring a dish to share and come focus on global missions and loving our El Salvadoran family!

delaware grace students summer events:There are a number of exciting upcoming Grace Students events and deadlines for your calendars! June 4th is the LAST day to register for Operation Everything 2017. Make sure your student is signed-up TODAY so they don’t miss out on an amazing week of summer!!! We are looking forward to learning about identity, worshipping together, going out on service projects, spending a day at Zoombezi Bay, and fellowshipping with one another! June 9th will be our monthly youth group summer outing to the Shiny Penny concert. The concert is @ 670 Hills-Miller Rd. and tickets can be purchased in advance for $11 @ harvesthillsministries.org/summer-concerts or for $13 @ the door. There will be live music, games, and a campfire! Also, June 15th is the cut-off registration date for a price break for momentum. Make sure to register asap to claim your spot for this amazing conference!
