Leading to Freedom- A Stress Management Programme

DBPC Alumni successfully organized a Stress Management Programme for outgoing class XII students. Career Guidance options were also discussed.

07th Feb 2010 : Annual Dinner & Fancy Dress

Annual Dinner is an evening that rocks. There was Tarot Card Reading, Live Music, Couple Photo Shoot and Prizes for the Best Dressed couple. It was a Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Our Alumni was involved in a whole lot of other activities also which included the Members of the Alumni having a session with Regional Superior Rev.Fr. Maria Arrokiam when he had come on visitation to the School.

PARK CIRCUS UNIT(2010-2011)

02nd May 2010 : Animation Day

We had participated in the Animation Day on the 2nd of May 2010 hosted by the Unit of DBPC Night School.

Our Unit presence was the strongest with over 28 attendees.

09th May 2010 :: Rabindra Jayanti &Osteoporosis Camp

Our Unit celebrated the 150th Birth Anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore with a small function where our Rector and Unit Delgate Rev. Fr. Siby spoke on the importance of Nation Building in today’s context.

The Initiative for this impromptu function was taken by our member Mr. Subrata Kumar Dey and we thank him for it.

Our Unit in association with the Alumni of Don Bosco Park Circus Night School had organised an Osteoporosis Camp with the help of our member Dr. Anirban Chatterjee.

The Event was a resounding success as we tested about 135 people. Free medicine supplements were also distributed on the occasion.

       

9th June 2010 : Adult Literacy Project - Charity Dinner

Our Alumni organised, in its maiden venture, a Charity Dinner in aid of the Adult Literacy Project.

We had arranged for sumptious food, Live Music and Cocktails aboard the M.V.Riviera, a Luxury Barge.

The turnout was much more than expected and the Barge was filled to capacity. All present had a Rollicking time and the Event went on to become a memorable success.

        

          

            

            

   

04th July 2010 :: Blood Donation Camp

Our Alumni had organised the Annual Blood Donation Camp this year. All Donors will got a Special Momento from the Alumni for showing their Solidarity, in our drive to collect Blood.

The Alumni would like to thank all its well wishers for their continuing support in making this a successful event.

15th Aug 2010 :: Business Meet

On 15th August every year we organise a Business Meet for our members, wherein we invite guest speakers to share their experience and knowledge on a particular business related proposal or topic. This year we held this meet for our members and invited the present Class XII students of the school to participate.

We had invited Mr. Sumit Ray, President of Calcutta Management Association to share his thoughts and experiences. Alumni Members are requested to attend this programme and take this opportunity to widen their knowledge and get an insiders perspective from the Management Guru himself.

This day we also launched our webmail and group sms service to keep our members in loop in

respect to programs and activities of the association.

05th Sep 2010 :: Bosco Jayanti

The Jayanti for the year 2010 was held on the 05th day of September at DBPC. Rev Fr. Jose Pampadiyil SDB (Vice Provincial), graced the occasion. He animated the gathering on the concept of ‘Belief’. Apart from the members of the DB Alumni about 4 FMA members also took part.

05th Sep 2010 :: Provincial Cup Football

A permanent recreational activity of the province, where-in all the local units come together, and have fun and frolic, they play match against each other, prizes are awarded.

DBPC hosted the tournament on the 5th of September 2010.

Park Circus unit bagged the winners rolling cup.
