2017-2018 Swim Season Dear Parents and Swimmer: Fundraising is inevitably one of the daunting tasks of sports activities. It has become even more important in recent years due to budget cuts. Our swim program uses the funds raised for essential items such as equipment (flags, lane lines, fins, kickboards, etc…) and purchasing suits, etc. for those less fortunate so that they may be able to participate in a sport as well as team shirts, etc…Everyone’s help is imperative to the success of our fundraising efforts. Again this year we are asking that swimmers raise $100 per swimmer. At this time there are three ways to make this happen. We will be selling wreaths, centerpieces and other holiday foliage from Lynch Creek Farms. 2017-2018 Swim Season

Dear Parents and Swimmer:

Fundraising is inevitably one of the daunting tasks of sports activities.

They are located in Shelton, Washington and use Oregon greens. 20% of these sales will be applied to the $100, you can also make a direct donation on the site as well. The Midnight Madness Swim on December 15th and into the 16th. This is where the students swim for funds. The donations can be per lap or a flat fee of sponsorship. The swimmers can swim no more than 200 laps. THIS IS A MANDATORY EVENT BECAUSE IT WILL REPLACE A DAYTIME PRACTICE. The last is to just write a check to Aloha High School Swim. We thank you for your support.

Now is the big incentive. Your swimmer can also earn money toward gear purchases, such as warm ups, t-shirts, gear bag, etc… We have let the swimmers know how this works is for every dollar over $100 they can use 50% towards gear purchase. An example would be that if your swimmer was able to raise $300 in pledges, they would have $100 to apply towards their swim gear purchases. We want to encourage the swimmers to help the team while at the same time helping mom and dad or themselves. You will be receiving a flyer with all the order information and where to look at our team gear to help make your choice.

Please take a moment to ask your swimmer about the wreath fundraiser. They will have received the information at our meeting. Shipping is free to wherever you would like to have them sent. Also, enclosed you will find all the Midnight Madness Swim-A-Palooza sponsorship opportunities.

If you have any questions, or ideas to share, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Lisa M. Leslie
