They travel throughout the United States year round as a full time ministry. Broken Vessels is a Southern Gospel Group, but they strive to include musical styles in their services that everyone will enjoy. The three sing as a trio and Scott is an accomplished pianist. Though Broken Vessels is a “Singing” Group, a major part of their ministry is their testimony. Scott’s story of, overcoming physical Brokenness, has been an encouragement to many. Physical disabilities that he has endured in his life that many would have seen as a stumbling block, he has used as a stepping stone. Scott was born with a bone disease called osteo genesis imperfecta. This is a bone disease that causes the bones to be very brittle. He spent much of his life with casts on his legs and arms. Many times he was in body casts from his chest to his feet. His first break was when he was 3 weeks old. But through it all, his parents taught him to trust God in whatever condition or situation. Scott's dad, Jimmy, had the same bone disease, so Scott knew that life could still be wonderful, even with difficulties. He realized his need to ask Jesus to be Lord of his life when he was 12 years old, and God completely healed his bones. He's never had another break since that day. God still heals, and Scott wants everyone to know about it. Broken Vessels travels every week testifying of God's healing power. When God healed Scott, He could have made him 6 feet tall, but he chose not to do that. Scott is a little under 4 feet tall, and he walks with a walker that he calls "The ScottRod"... The scars from his life are very evident. He is a broken vessel but has chosen to be a willing vessel. Scott, Lisa and Elizabeth’s mission is to get this message across…”You may not be broken physically where people can see... You may be broken Spiritually, or emotionally. This is sometimes worse than physical pain. But if You'll let God's light shine into Your vessel... That light will shine through the broken places.Broken Vessels not only ministers in Churches, but Prisons, Drug Rehabs, and even Nursing Homes. Where ever the door opens for them to share God’s love, they go. Being a Full Time Group, they are available for any day of the week. We would like to introduce Broken Vessels, made up of Scott & Lisa Roberts and Elizabeth Ortigo.

They travel throughout the United States year round as a full time ministry. Broken Vessels is a

Southern Gospel Group, but they strive to include musical styles in their services that everyone will

enjoy. The three sing as a trio and Scott is an accomplished pianist.

Though Broken Vessels is a “Singing” Group, a major part of their ministry is their testimony.

Scott’s story of, overcoming physical Brokenness, has been an encouragement to many. Physical

disabilities that he has endured in his life that many would have seen as a stumbling block, he has

used as a stepping stone.

That light will shine through the broken places.”

Broken Vessels not only ministers in Churches, but Prisons, Drug Rehabs, and even Nursing Homes. Where ever the door opens for them to share God’s love, they go. Being a Full Time Group, they are available for any day of the week. We would love for You to pray about having Broken Vessels come to Your church to minister. They are a faith ministry. They come strictly on a love offering basis. Feel free to contact Scott Roberts in any of the ways at the bottom of this page.
