Abstract
Abstract
The aim of this work is to determine the total phenolic content and the
antioxidant and antibacterial activity studies for the extracts of the aerial part of
3 medicinal plants in the region of Eloued, in South-East of Algeria: Apium
graveolens, Petroselinum crispum, Coriandrum sativum.
In General, The results showed That total phenolic contents of aerial
parts have changed from one plant type to another P. Crispum and A.
gravelolens with polyphenols where the quantitative content of these
substances was estimated at (78.03±0.206) and (69.88±0.184) mg is equivalent
to gallic acid per gram of the extract, as for C. sativum The amount of phenolic
content has a value (55.81±0.146) mg equivalent of gallic acid per gram of
extract.
While the antioxidant activity tests by using the DPPH• method show the
methanol extracts of the plants studied A. graveolens and C. sativum have
antioxidant effect with an inhibitory capacity of (IC50=275.65±5.06),
(IC50=288.28±3.62) and P. crispum was less active valued (IC50=302.12±25.11)
compared to ascorbic acid (IC50=62.24±1.64).
The tablet diffusion method was used in the study of anti-bacterial
activity, where the results showed that the methanolic extract of C. sativum is
one of the most effective extracts against Gram positive and Gram negative
compared to extracts of P. crispum and A. graveolens.

Résumé
Le but de ce travail est de déterminer la teneur totale en phénol et études
l' activité antioxydante et antibactérienne, des extraits de la partie aérienne de
trois plantes médicinales de la région d' Eloued, au Sud-est de l' Algérie: Apium
graveolens, Petroselinum crispum, Coriandrum sativum.
En général, Les résultats on montré que le contenu phénolique total des
parties aériennes des plantes étudiées varie d'un type de plante à l'autre P.
crispum et A. graveolens en des poly phénols, le contenue quantitatif de ces
substances étant estimé à (78.03±0.206) et (69.88±0.184) mg d'équivalent à
l'acide gallique par gramme d'extrait, comme pour la C. sativum. La teneur en
contenu phénolique a une valeur (55.81±0.146) mg équivalent à l'acide gallique
par gramme d'extrait. DPPH •
Alors que les tests d' activité antioxydante utilisant par la méthode
DPPH• montrent que les extraits au méthanol des plantes étudiées, A.
graveolens et C. sativum, ont un effet antioxydant et un pouvoir inhibiteur de
(IC50=275.65±5.06), (IC50=288.28±3.62) et P. crispum était moins actif
(IC50=302.12±25.11) comparé à l'acide ascorbique (IC50=62.24±1.64).
La méthode de diffusion sur comprimés a été utilisée dans l' étude de
l'activité antibactérienne. Les résultats ont montré que l' extrait méthanolique de
C. sativum est l'un des extraits les plus efficaces contre les Gram positifs et
Gram négatifs par rapport aux extraits de P. crispum et de A. graveolens.
