Examination, study, prevention, restauration, conservation, maintenance, use and transfer of cultural heritage – legal entities and individuals
Possibility to do construction works – conservation, restauration, relocation, adaptation
Act on the Protection and Preservation of Cultural Heritage
By the Ministry of Culture 5 years Competent authority is the Department of
Conservation at the Ministry of Culture and in Zagreb the City Institute for Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage
Regulation to obtain permission to perform on the Protection and Preservation of Cultural Heritage
Work on preservation and protection includes 12 topics among are:◦ preparation of preliminary, main and detailed
design works on immovable cultural property◦ construction performance on immovable cultural
property◦ maintenence of culutural heritage
professional qualification technical equipment necessary safety precautions
Conditions
Mandatory master exam:◦ locksmith, chimney sweep, electrician, mason,
roofer, plasterer, tinsmith, gas installer, glazier, joiner, carpenter, plumber and heating and AC installer, stonemason, sign painter, painter, plumber
Qualification exam:◦ Bar bender, construction glazier, insulation
worker, floor layer, welder

Average of buildings: 200 kWh/m2 87 % of buildings are big consumers Biggest consumers built between 1940 and
1970 with 200 and 300 kWh/m2 Buildings between 1987 and 2006 are in
accordance with technical regulations from 1987: 100 and 150 kWh/m2
