このたびは、『ATLAS 専門用語辞書フリーパック V13.0』、『ATLAS 医学・薬学専門辞書 V13.0』、『ATLAS IT・製造業専門辞書 V13.0』、または『ATLAS 医学翻訳 ステッドマン+南山堂パック V13.0』をお買い上げいただきありがとうございます。

本製品は、翻訳品質の向上を実現する分野別の専門用語辞書で、「ATLAS 翻訳ダブルパック V4.0以降」、｢ ATLAS EJ V3.0 以降｣、｢ ATLAS JE V3.0 以降｣、｢ ATLAS 翻訳パーソナル V1.0以降｣でお使いいただけます。

本書では、本製品のインストール方法とアンインストール方法について説明します。

『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をインストールする『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をインストールします。『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をグレードアップする場合は、「グレードアップキットを使って『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をインストールする（⇒P.8）」をご覧ください。

※あらかじめ、本製品に同梱されている CD-ROMを用意してください。

1 『ATLAS専門用語辞書』のCD-ROMをパソコンにセットします。

2 [ 次へ ]ボタンをクリックします。

⇒ インストールプログラムが自動的に起動しない場合は、CD-ROMの￥setup.exeをエクスプローラでダブルクリックするなどして、直接起動してください。

⇒ 古いバージョンの『ATLAS専門用語辞書』がインストールされている場合、古いバージョンの『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をアンインストールするかどうかのメッセージが表示されます。ATLAS V13の専門用語辞書をインストールする場合、古いバージョンの『ATLAS専門用語辞書』を必ずアンインストールしてください。古いバージョンをアンインストールしないとATLAS V13の専門用語辞書はインストールできません。

⇒『ATLAS 医学・薬学専門辞書 V13.0』／『ATLAS IT・製造業専門辞書 V13.0』／『ATLAS 医学翻訳 ステッドマン+南山堂パック V13.0』は同じパソコンにインストールできます。 古い専門用語辞書をお持ちの場合、これらに含まれない分野の辞書を後から追加してインストールできます。インストールするには、カスタムセットアップ画面にて、必要な分野の辞書を選択してください。なお、『ATLAS 専門用語辞書 V9.0』以降は、重複する分野の辞書はインストールプログラムによって自動的にインストール対象から外されます。

3 表示された内容をよくお読みになり［使用許諾契約の条項に同意します］を選択して、［次へ］ボタンをクリックします。

4 ユーザ情報とシリアル番号を入力し、［次へ］ボタンをクリックします。

5 インストール内容を設定し、[次へ ]ボタンをクリックします。

⇒ すでに別の分野の専門用語辞書がインストールされている場合、ユーザ名とプログラムのインストール先は変更できません。すでにある辞書と同じになります。

� インストールしない辞書がある場合は、 をクリックして、｢この機能を使用できないようにします。｣を選択します。

� Windowsが Cドライブにインストールされている場合は、インストール先として ｢ C:￥Program Files￥ATLAS V13 ｣と表示されます。 インストール先を変更する場合は、[変更 ] ボタンをクリックしてインストール先を変更します。このとき、インストール先のフォルダが存在しない場合は、新しくフォルダが作成されます。

6 内容を確認して、[インストール ]ボタンをクリックします。

� 設定内容を変更する場合は、[戻る ] ボタンをクリックして、設定し直してください。� インストール中に、インストールを中止したい場合は、経過表示画面の [ キャンセル ]ボタンをクリックします。この場合、それまでにコピーしたファイルは削除されます。

インストールが終了すると、インストールの完了画面が表示されます。

7 [ 完了 ]ボタンをクリックします。これで、インストールが終了です。

グレードアップキットを使って『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をインストールする『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をグレードアップします。グレードアップ対象製品の古いバージョンがパソコンにインストールされていない場合、グレードアップCD-ROMのインストール中に、古いバージョンの検索操作が必要です。この場合は、必ず｢古いバージョンのCD-ROM ｣を用意してください。

※次のCD-ROMを用意します。● 本製品に同梱されている、CD-ROM ( グレードアップCD-ROM)● 古いバージョンのCD-ROM ( 古いバージョンがインストールされていない場合 )

1 グレードアップCD-ROMをパソコンにセットします。

2 お使いのパソコンの環境によって、表示される画面が異なります。

以下の画面が表示された場合古いバージョンの CD-ROMをパソコンにセットして古いバージョンの検索を行う必要

があります。

操作 3.に進みます。

以下の画面が表示された場合古いバージョンの検索は不要です。

3 以下の操作を行って、古いバージョンの検索を行います。1. グレードアップ CD-ROMを取り出し、古いバージョンの CD-ROMをセットします。

古いバージョンの CD-ROM をセットすると、操作 2 の画面の背面に、古いバージョ

ンのインストール画面が表示される場合があります。

この場合は、古いバージョンのインストールを中止してください。

2.［検索を開始する］ボタンをクリックします。

「製品媒体による検索」がうまくできない場合は、CD-ROMドライブ名が正しいかを

確認してください。

正しくない場合は、［参照］ボタンで CD-ROM ドライブを指定してください。

3. 製品検索が終了したら、古いバージョンの CD-ROMを取り出し、グレードアップ

CD-ROMを再度セットします。

操作 2.の画面が表示されたら、［キャンセル］ボタンをクリックしてください。

� 操作３ . の古いバージョンの検索は、「ソフトウェア型名コード」(製品パッケージやCD-ROM面に記載の「Bxxxxxxxx」番号 ) を使っても、次の操作で行えます。（1）「ソフトウェア型名コードによる検索」をクリックします。（2）ソフトウェア型名コードを入力します。(大文字と小文字にご注意ください )（3）[検索を開始する ]ボタンをクリックします。

4 次の画面が表示されたら、[次へ ]ボタンをクリックします。

アンインストールインストールした『ATLAS専門用語辞書』が不要になった場合、アンインストールできます。アンインストールは、インストールされている『ATLAS専門用語辞書』をハードディスクから削除します。

1 ［スタート］ボタンをクリックし、［コントロールパネル］、または［設定］から［コントロールパネル］を選択します。

2 ［コントロールパネル］ウィンドウで［アプリケーションの追加と削除］/［プログラムの追加と削除］アイコンをダブルクリックします。

3 リストボックスから『ATLAS 専門用語辞書 V13.0』、『ATLAS 医学・薬学専門辞書 V13.0』、『ATLAS IT・製造業専門辞書 V13.0』、または『ATLAS 医学翻訳 ステッドマン+南山堂パック V13.0』を選択し、［追加と削除］/［削除］ボタンをクリックします。これ以降は、画面の指示にしたがってください。

Thank you for purchasing "ATLAS Technical Dictionaries free pack V13.0", "ATLAS Medicine and Pharmacology Dictionaries V13.0", "ATLAS IT and Manufacturing industry Dictionaries V13.0" , or "ATLAS Medical Translation Stedman + Nanzando Pack V13.0."

These technical dictionaries, which enhance the accuracy of translation in various technical fields, can be used with ATLAS Translation Double Pack 8.0 or later.

This manual describes procedures for installing and uninstalling the product.

Installing ATLAS Technical DictionariesThe following instructions explain how to install ATLAS Technical Dictionaries. For

details on how to upgrade ATLAS Technical Dictionaries, refer to " Installing ATLAS

Technical Dictionaries Using the Upgrade Kit" on page 20.

* The software is on the CD-ROM supplied with the product.

1 Insert the ATLAS Technical Dictionaries CD-ROM in the PC.

A selection screen appears.

2 Click the [Next] button.

⇒ If the install program does not start up automatically, double-click the setup.exe file in

Explorer.

⇒ When an older version of ATLAS Technical Dictionaries is installed, a message is displayed

asking whether or not to uninstall the older version. Note that the old version of ATLAS

Technical Dictionaries must be uninstalled before you can install ATLAS Technical

Dictionaries V13.0.

⇒ "ATLAS Medicine and Pharmacology Dictionaries V13.0", "ATLAS IT and Manufacturing

Industry Dictionaries V13.0", and "ATLAS Medical Translation Stedman + Nanzando Pack

V13.0" can be installed at the same time. If you have already installed one or more technical

dictionaries, you can additionally install dictionaries for fields not covered by your current

dictionaries. To install additional dictionaries, use the "Custom Setup" screen to select only

those dictionaries you want to install. Note that with "ATLAS Technical Dictionaries V9.0" and

later during installation the program automatically deletes previously installed dictionaries in

the same field.

3 Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click the [Next]

button.

4 Enter user information and serial number, and click the [Next] button.

5 Confirm the items you want to install and click the [Next] button.

⇒ When technical dictionaries in other fields have been installed, you cannot change the user

name and program install location. The dictionaries will be installed under the same name

and in the same location.

� Click for dictionaries you do not wish to install and select "This feature will not

be available." from the dropdown menu.

� When Windows is installed on the C drive, "C:\Program Files\ATLAS V13" is displayed

as the install location.To install the dictionaries elsewhere, click the [Change] button

and change the destination. If there is no folder at the destination at this time, a new

one will be created.

6 Before clicking the [Install] button check the items you selected.

� To change an item, click the [Back] button and make the required changes.

� To exit an ongoing install process, click the [Cancel] button displayed in the progress

screen. This action deletes all files copied up to that point.

When the install process is completed, a screen appears informing you that the install process is completed.

7 Click the [Finish] button.

This completes the install process.

Installing ATLAS Technical Dictionaries Using the Upgrade Kit

The following instructions explain how to upgrade ATLAS Technical Dictionaries. If

the old version that is to be upgraded is not installed, the Upgrade Kit will ask for it

during the upgrade process. In this case, make sure that you have the CD-ROM of

the old version on hand.

* The following CD-ROMs are needed for the install process.

● The CD-ROM (upgrade CD-ROM) supplied with this product.

● The CD- ROM that contains the old version (when the old version is not installed).

1 Insert the upgrade CD-ROM in the PC.

2 The actual screen that appears depends on the environment.

• When the screen shown below is displayed, you must insert the CD-ROM with the old version to enable a search of the old version. Go to operation 3.

• When the screen shown below appears, a search for the old version is not required. Go to operation 4.

⇒ If the install program does not start up automatically, double-click the setup.exe file in

Explorer.

⇒ When an older version of ATLAS Technical Dictionaries is installed, a message is displayed

asking whether or not to uninstall the older version. Note that the old version of ATLAS

Technical Dictionaries must be uninstalled before you can install ATLAS Technical

Dictionaries V13.0.

⇒ "ATLAS Medicine and Pharmacology Dictionaries V13.0", "ATLAS IT and Manufacturing

Industry Dictionaries V13.0", and "ATLAS Medical Translation Stedman + Nanzando Pack

V13.0" can be installed at the same time. If you have already installed one or more technical

dictionaries, you can additionally install dictionaries for fields not covered by your current

dictionaries. To install additional dictionaries, use the "Custom Setup" screen to select only

those dictionaries you want to install. Note that with "ATLAS Technical Dictionaries V9.0" and

later during installation the program automatically deletes previously installed dictionaries in

the same field.

3 Perform the following steps to enable a search for the old version.

1. Eject the upgrade CD-ROM and insert the CD-ROM with the old version.

When the CD-ROM with the old version is inserted, the install screen for the old

version may appear behind the screen shown in operation 2.

If this happens, exit the install process for the old version.

2. Click the [Start search] button.

If [Search by product format delivery] does not function properly, check if the correct

CD-ROM drive name has been selected.

If not, use the [Browse] button to locate the CD-ROM drive.

3. When the search for the product is completed, eject the CD-ROM with the old

version and insert the upgrade CD-ROM again.

When the screen shown in operation 2 appears, click the [Cancel] button.

� The search for the old version in operation 3 can also be performed using the Product

ID (the Bxxxxxxxx number found on the product package or CD-ROM) as described

below.

(1) Click "Search by Product ID."

(2) Enter the Product ID. Note that the ID is case sensitive.

(3) Click the [Start search] button.

4 Click the [Next] button when the following screen appears.

5 Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click the [Next]

6 Enter user information and serial number, and click the [Next] button.

Uninstall ProceduresYou can uninstall ATLAS Technical Dictionaries when you no longer need them. The uninstall process removes the installed ATLAS Technical Dictionaries from your hard disk.

1 Click the [Start] button and select [Control Panel] or [Settings] - [Control

Panel].

2 Double click the [Add/Remove Programs] or [Add or Remove Programs] icon

in the [Control Panel] window.

3 Select "ATLAS Technical Dictionaries V13.0", "ATLAS Medicine and

Pharmacology Dictionaries V13.0", "ATLAS IT and Manufacturing industry

Dictionaries V13.0" , or "ATLAS Medical Translation Stedman + Nanzando

Pack V13.0" from the list that appears and click the [Remove] button.

Follow the on-screen instructions that appear.
