Features and Uses
Simple structure and high efficiencySamjin submersible motor pumps are designed on the economical building block principle for
easy replacement of the parts and for easy assembling and disassembling works and efficient
interchangeability of parts. The pumps are designed on the latest flow design principle and by
the computer aided program to guarantee high efficiency and high performance.
Easy installationSamjin submersible motor pumps can be easily installed by using automatic discharge
coupling without removing bolts and packings. Pump can be lifted or lowered through center
line of the two guide bars.
Superior cooling effectSamjin submersible motor pumps are equipped with cooling water jacket and in case of low
water level operation, cooling of pump heat can be made by the circulation of cooling water through
cooling water jacket to prevent motor overheat.
Easy maintenance can be done by lowering or lifting automatically with the aid of automatic
discharge coupling.
Low noise level and low vibrationLow noise level and low vibration due to submerged pump and integrated assembly of pump
and motor.

Waste water pumpSamjin submersible motor pumps are designed to meet the requirement of sewage and waster
water by Samjins long years practical experiences.
Pump and motor are designed by state of the art technology and by the computer aided
program to guarantee the reliable operation and high efficiency with best functional impeller.
The range of this pump service from 0.75KW to 560KW is
suitable for the large flow capacity and high head.
As the pumps are equipped with cooling water jacket in the pump
casing, the pumps can be operated in the dry pit.
Automatic discharge couplings are used for high head pump.
Handling fluid temperature is normally max. 40℃ and in
special case, 90℃ is available. Anti-corrosion device can be
fitted for corrosive fluid. And explosion proof type motor can
be available in the explosive area.
The flow capacity and total design head are max 110m3/min and
90m, respectively.

Types of Installations
Waste water pumpsSamjin submersible waster water pumps are designed for
various pump types to be selected for the most suitable
pumps to satisfy customers requirements.
Non-clog type high efficiency impeller with
2~3 vanes is equipped in order to prevent
clogging of foreign matters. This type is
suitable for various uses by many selection
ranges.
Open type impeller with 2 vanes is equipped and
pump with 2pole motor is suitable for small
flow capacity and high head pumping fluid
with less contaminated sludge.
ELBOW TYPE TO TYPE DRY-PIT TYPE
This pump can be installed by itsown weight and discharge portcan be connected with hose orpipe. The pump can be moved orinstalled to anywhere regardlessof its location.
This pump is equipped withautomatic discharge coupling andcan be lifted or lowered forinstallation and maintenanceworks. It is very economical to liftor lower the pump easily by usingauto discharge coupling
This pump is equipped withcooling water jacket and can beinstalled in the dry pit and can becooled by circulation waterthrough cooling water jacket.

Protection systemSamjin SB series pumps are provided with protection devices consisting of thermal sensor and leak sensor.
Thermal sensor detects automatically abnormal temperature rise in the motor coil and in the upper and
lower bearing and signals it to the motor fault alarm system at the same time and protects the motor from
damage by switching the motor off at once.
Leak sensor detects automatically the moisture ingress into the watertight enclosure of the motor and in
the oil chamber of the shaft sealing in case of failure of mechanical seals at the same time and protects
the motor from damage by switching the motor off at once.

Pump Accessory
Pump lift is used for lifting or lowering of the pump easily
regardless of height of the pumping station, pump can be lifted or
lowered easily by means of this lifting device, hence no need to increase
building height of the pumping station due to the increased lifting
distance.
Pump lift is applied for lifting the pump with automatic discharge
coupling. Double safety device was provided for preventing safety
trouble while lifting the pump.
PUMPLIFT
Flush valve was designed on the basis of ejector principle for
desludging and agitating sedimentation on the sump of slurry contained
sewage or waster water.
This valve is attached to the pump casing and is automatically
opened whenever pump starts and powerful stream is created and
agitates sedimentation at the bottom of the sump.
