River tourism represents all touristic activities that we can do on the rivers and

channels.

It means yachting, cruises and sailing on motorboats but we also can find canoe

kayak, water skiing, swimming…

we can find two important tourism in Midi Pyrenees about water: baths and

sailing on boats: barges

Barge is a boat with a flat bottom adapted to the navigation on rivers and channel for freight.

We can find these boats along the canal du midi. The main river which crosses the town.

We also can find boats cruises on the Garonne, a river which crosses Toulouse
