-Printing Double-Sided Reading A-Z Books- Mac Users 1. Login to Reading A-Z. 2. Go to All Books and select the title of the book that you would like to print. 3. Under Select Double-Sided Version, click on Download the Book. 4. A window will pop up asking you to either open the file with Adobe Reader or Save to Disk. Make your selection and click OK. 5. Look at the orientation of your book. a. If your book looks like this, you will be printing Two-Sided Short- edged binding . b. If your book looks like this, you will be printing Two-Sided Print Long- edged binding . 6. Select File Print. 7. Use the pull-down arrow next to Printer: to select the Xerox printer that you would like to use.

1. Login to Reading A-Z. 2. Go to All Books and select the title of the book that you would like to print. 3. Under Select Double-Sided Version, click on Download the Book.

5. Look at the orientation of your book. a. If your book looks like this, you will be printing Two-Sided Short-

edged binding.

b. If your book looks like this, you will be printing Two-Sided Print Long-

edged binding.

6. Select File Print. 7. Use the pull-down arrow next to Printer: to select the Xerox printer that you

would like to use.

Note: you must print to a Xerox printer for double-sided printing to work correctly!

8. Select how many copies you would like to print. 9. Using the pull-down menu next to Copies & Pages, select Layout.

10. Based on the orientation of your page (see direction #5), select Two-Sided Long-edged binding or Two-Sided Short-edged binding.

11. Then in the same drop down select ‘Xerox Features’

Then make sure to select ‘2 sided print’ for long edge binding or ‘2 sided print, Flip on Short Edge’ for short edge binding.

12. After you’ve set everything you can save the settings by selecting the

presets dropdown and selecting ‘Save As’ and giving it a name like ‘xerox short edge binding’. Then you will see it as a choice the next time you click presets like the two examples below:

13. Under Xerox Job Type, select Secure Print. Enter a 4-10 digit passcode (this can be the same passcode as you use when you are using the Xerox copier but it does not have to be.

14. Under Printer Features, deselect Banner Sheet.

15. Select Print.

Releasing your Document from the Xerox Copier 1. Once your document has been printed, you can go to the Xerox to

release it (remember – you do not need to go to the Xerox right away; the machine will hold your work until you are ready)

2. Login to the machine (using the passcode that you usually use to use the machine).

3. Click on the Job Status button (second button on the right of the screen). 4. Listed on the screen will be all of the documents that have been sent to

the printer using Secure Print. 5. Click on your document name (designated by the username of the

person who was logged into the computer that was being printed from). 6. Click Release. 7. Enter in your 4-10 digit passcode (this is the one that you set under Secure

Print in the directions above). 8. Your document will now print. 9. If you would like to delete a document (i.e. you realized you made a

mistake and you don’t want the original copy you sent), click on the document name and click Delete.

This should NOT be
