Music has a good deal of influence on itself Sometimes from culture to culture and

sometimes from style to style. The blending of styles is very significant and

allows music to grow and evolve.

Folk to Classical: Classical composers have frequently used

folk songs as a source of inspiration for their compositions.

Edvard Grieg- one of the first composers to use this rhythmic and melodic flavor of folk songs in his compositions.
