pìééäáÉë=The supplies indicated below is for a cuff 18.5 cm (7.25”). Each disc will add or subtract approximately 2 cm (0.75”).

Sharp scissors Thread starting point

Thread conditioner such as beeswax, synthetic wax, Thread Heaven Thread exit point & direction of thread path

Your favourite beading surface Bead numbers #1, #2, etc do not relate to numbers in the step prior unless otherwise indicated. Light and magnification if desired

On a 50 cm (19”) thread, string 1F, 1E, 1B, 1E, 1B, 1E, 1B, 1E and pass through the first bead strung. Arrange the B and E beads around the F.

You will only be using one hole of the E beads. Leave a short tail enough to weave in later.

String 1E, 1B, 1E, 1B, 1E, 1B, 1E and pass through bead #1. Once again arrange the B and E beads around the second half of bead #1.

Following the above threadpath, weave from bead #2 to #8. String 1B and pass through beads #9 to #15 to exit.

String 1B and pass through bead #2. Weave through all the B and E beads to stabilize the beads. Weave through beads #3 and #4 to exit.

Turn the thread by passing through the second hole of the E. In the above diagram, it shows the position of the E beads vis-à-vis the F.

You will have 2 of the holes against the F.

Make sure the E beads are positioned with two holes against the F like in Step 5. Place 1B bead between each of the top holes of the E beads. Draw firmly on the thread so that the E beads surround the F. Repeat

the threadpath to reinforce and stabilize the beads.

Turn the thread by passing through the last hole of the E. This is the outside hole at the edge of the weaving. Now would be a good time to

secure and trim the tail thread.

String 2B and pass through bead #2. Repeat placing 2B between each of the E beads.

Weave through bead #2. String 1C and pass through beads #3 to #5 to exit.

Repeat Step 9 seven times placing 1C between each of the B bead pairs. Secure and trim the working thread when done. Set aside for

now.

Repeat Steps 1 to 10 to make another disc. However this time do not trim the working thread.

Weave to exit from bead #1, any of the C beads on the edge.

String 1C and pass through a C bead (#2) on the first completed disc. String 1C and pass through bead #1.

Following the above threadpath, weave from bead #2 to #7 to exit.

String 1C and pass through bead #2. String 1C and pass through bead #1. Now secure and trim the working thread.

Make as many discs as required for your wrist following the above instructions and join them in a long strip. Set aside when done. Note : For an 18.5 cm (7.25”) cuff, make a total of 9 discs.

Repeat Steps 1 to 16 twice more. Each time make and join the same number of discs as the first strip.

To join the strips, start a new thread to exit from bead #1. Repeat Steps 12 to 15 to exit from bead #2. Note : The above diagram shows only the start and exit points of the thread, not the entire threadpath.

String 1C, 1D, 1C and pass through bead #1. Weave through beads #2 and #3 to exit.

String 3D and pass through bead #1. Weave through beads #2 and #3 to exit.

String 3C and pass through bead #1. Weave through beads #2 to #4 to exit.

String 1C and pass through beads #2, #3 and #1. Weave through beads #4 to #7 to exit.

Repeat Steps 19 to 23 to join the rest of the discs.

Repeat Steps 18 to 24 to join the last strip.

To build the mesh between the discs, start a new thread to exit from bead #1. String 1C and pass through bead #2. String 1C and pass through bead #2. Weave through beads #3 then #2 to #5 to exit.

String 1C and pass through bead #2. String 1C and pass through bead #1. Weave through beads #3, #2, #4 to #9 to exit.

Repeat Steps 26 and 27.

Repeat Steps 26 and 28 for each of the columns of discs.

Start a new thread to exit from bead #1 at the first disc at one end of the cuff. String 2A, 2B, 1F, 1B. Skip the last B strung and pass back

through beads #2 to #4. String 2A and pass through bead #1. Repeat the threadpath at least twice to reinforce.

Repeat Step 30 for the next two discs.

Start a new thread to exit from bead #1 at the first disc at the other end of the cuff. String 20A and pass through bead #1. Repeat the

threadpath at least twice to reinforce.

Repeat Step 32 for the next two discs.

Congratulations! The Trinity Cuff is now complete.
