4. what is your favorite type of student ? Mr. Hanson : Friendly and students who tries. Not the best students, but they try.

Ms. Hanson : A student with a very fun personality. Oh, Actually, all my students is my favorite students. . . Actually my personal feeling, student is not always so shy,

being shy students are OK, but if they try to be a little bit more friendly. If they are cheerful, and smile sometimes, and If they make a mistake, they don't

cry about it, they just cry about it, they just try again.

5. What do you think is the worst type of student ? Ms. Hanson : Students who comes to college he doesn't here, she doesn't care. they come because their mother and father say " You must go". But they don't care. They hate English, they hate computer, they hate programming. They have no energy for anything. That's the worst type of student, because they don't have the future in their study. They should just get a job at Seven Eleven, or at Mr. Pizza, and they should not waste their time, waste money. But I give everybody a chance. I try to help everybody.

1. Do you have any advice for students taking your classes ? Mr. Hanson : Well, I think If you learn something, usually students comes to learn. if they wait for the teacher, maybe we don't learn, but students says “ Hmm.. teacher can teach me something, that's good” but, if I want to do something I must find the information. Ms. Hanson : My advice for students who are take my class is to be cheerful, and cheerfuly give good effort. Don't be lazy because cheerful, and cheerfuly give good effort. Don't be lazy because it makes me angry of the lazy. If students are a little bit late, I don't feel angry. but just being lazy, no energy, boring, it's not good. So be cheerful and friendly with your team.

2. What is the best way to learn English at MJC? Mr. Hanson : I think to practice, just try, try everything.

Ms. Hanson : The best way to study English at MJC is to take advantage of any special class, any special program. If you see a foreigner, say "Hello", or "Good morning" or something. Take some classes in English department, if It's possible.

If there is a program to go to a foreign country, for example this department some student have the chance to go to Australia, New Zealand, or India. Try take the chances. comic-book, and so on to make you fun, so you do it everyday. If you hate it, you never learn it. Prof.Youn : I think it depends on the purpose of English. Some students, they want to get high specification, and try to get high score of

TOEFL, TOEIC, some other like test. As for me, I would like to tell student in MJC, "Try to learn survival English". I think the most of MJC student don't need to high score of test, because they not going to go abroad to study like foreign country. The most student want to get

better job. what they need some skill like a conversation, writing e-mail, writing some documents, it's very important point. 3. What is the best way to get friendly with you ? Mr. Hanson : I think the best way is say "Hello", come to talk. Ms. Hanson : Just say "Hello". My job here as teacher to help student with English, and to be a representative for my country. So I want you to have a good feeling about America, not rock music and not gangster. . It's not real, I'm real.
