Indicaciones generales

Afinación del violoncello.

Los grupos de fusas siempre se ejecutan Leggiero, muy

rápidamente, sin una indicación metronómica precisa. Los

gestos con notas con cabeza blanca deben ejecutarse

siempre mezzo legno.

Los vibr veloce (full speed), responden a una cualidad

tímbrica del sonido; hay que evitar darles el más mínimo

carácter expresivo.

Intensidades entre paréntesis. Indican la intensidad de

ejecución, no la intensidad efectiva resultante de dicha

acción.

Corchete horizontal abarcando la duración de una altura.

Significa que dicha altura debe ser ejecutada en forma

inexpresiva, con una dinámica absolutamente estable, lisa.

Signos + y – precediendo a una altura. Indican corrimientos

menores al semitono hacia el grave y el agudo

respectivamente. Siempre están asociados a las alturas de

las series de armónicos que no coinciden con el

temperamento de la escala cromática (por eso no se habla

de ¼ de tono).

Cuando las notas son ejecutadas en las cuerdas I y III estas deben leerse transpuestas

una 2º menor hacia abajo y hacia arriba respectivamente. En estos casos se indica la

nota de efecto en el pentagrama superior.

General instructions

The tuning of the violoncello.

The groups of 32th are to be always played Leggiero, very

fast, without a specific metronomic indication. Gestures

with white-heads notes must always be played mezzo legno.

The action vibr veloce (full speed), must be taken as a

timbric quality of the sound, the slightest espressivo

character must be avoided.

Volume indication in parentheses. Indicate the intensity of

the performance manner and not the resulting absolute

volume of the action.

Horizontal square bracket covering the duration of the

pitch. Signify that the pitch should be played in an

inexpressive manner, with its dynamic absolutely stable and

flat.

Signs + and – preceding a pitch. Indicate a tuning less of a

semi tone up and down respectively. They are always

attached to pitches of the harmonic series that don’t match

with the temperate chromatic scale (that is why a quarter of

tone is not mentioned)

When playing in the strings I and III, the notes must be read transposed a minor 2nd

down and up respectively. In those cases the real pitches are indicated in the first stave.
