Well Mounting System

Materials: Structural Aluminum Bar, 1040 Steel Brackets, SAE Grade 8 Bolts

Expected Cost: $ 320.12 (USD) per system (McMaster-Carr)

Maximum Stress: 170.60 MPa

Design Overview: Analyzed for 110mph winds parallel to the ground, two of these mounting systems will hold 3 panels each to power the in well DC submersible pump. The panels are designed to sit .75 meters above the ground. An adjustable length rear pole varies the angle of the face of the panels from 15 degrees from the horizon to 30 degrees. All bolting and brackets will be fabricated and purchased in the US, while all poles will be purchased in Guatemala.
