Plant engineering constitutes one of the core areas of modern process engineering as a whole.
- Covered subjects are automation, logistics, and plant design
- practical application of computer aided plant design
This module, at the interface of chemistry and process engineering, fulfills the requirements of today’s industry.
- Core issues of industrial scale-up, chemical product design, advanced catalysis, polymer chemistry
This module deals with technical processes for environmental protection and the restoration of damaged ecosystems as well as the development of technology-based environmental measures.
- water and air pollution control, waste treatment and systems analyses
Students of this module gain advanced knowledge of technologies for the efficient, safe, environmentally friendly, and profitable conversion, storage, and use of energy in all its forms.
