Description of treatment process: Tryon Wastewater Plant is a Class 3 facility with the capacity of treating 1.5 MGD with the following components:

Primary screening Automatic bar screen Parshall Flume Extended aeration Secondary clarification Chlorine disinfection Dechlorination Settling Tank

The Facility is located at 1526 East Howard Street, east of Tryon in Polk County.

The Town of Tryon is authorized to discharge wastewater from said facility to receiving waters designated as Vaughn Creek in the Broad River Basin in accordance with effluent limitations and monitoring requirements.

To the best of my knowledge there were no environmental impacts due to plant operations or operator error.

III. Collection System Performance

The Town of Tryon had no sanitary sewer overflows for 2015.

8/3/15 Oak Street: Replaced 20 ft. of 6” sewer at manhole 8/11/15 Hwy 176 across from IGA: 4” service blockage 9/6/15 Tyler Philphot 4: service blockage 10/22/15 Oak Street : White Oak Nursing Home/blockage with rags and gloves 11/4/15 Markham Road: 4” blockage service line 11/9/15 Lyle Street: Blockage under house 11/14/15 Country Club Rd. Wolfe residence: sewer blockage 11/17/15 51 Embury Street: sewer blockage service line 12/10/15 Broadway Ave: Scoggins residence: Sewer blockage 12/15/15 McCowan’s residence: sewer blockage 12/18/15 Pacolet Hills Church: Hwy 176 sewer blockage 12/22/15 740 E. Howard St: Broken line at house

11,110 feet of sewer Lines cleaned and replaced.
