SOLUTION The mine needed the machine badly and contacted Motion Industries for a faster option. Mi Hose and Rubber supplied nearly 600 hose assemblies and several hundred adapters and tube fittings; all of which were DKO metric fittings. Motion was able to fill the entire order within 5 days of receipt, with almost 90% of the stock coming directly from Motion’s Chicago Hose and Rubber Shop. The abundant savings to the customer were immeasurable, and the excavator is now on-site and helping with the slide clean-up.

The Problem:

In an automated sortation conveyor application, the OEM found that their conveyors were too loud, causing an unacceptable decibel level in the warehouse.

The Solution:

The customer utilized Shuster radial ball bearings which feature “electric motor quality” as their standard. The reduced noise and vibration levels helped equipment last longer, and run quieter/smoother. High-grade electric motor grease offers increased endurance in the long run, and is able to withstand high temperatures. Increased accuracy is incorporated into ourstandard ABEC 3 design, exceeding other industry products.
