Foreign nationals worldwide, stateless citizens and compatriots residing abroad are eligible to applyfor the one of 300 available government-funded places for entry to degreelprogr.*. successfulapplicants are guaranteed tuition fee waiving, place in sPbu dormitory and rnontnty maintenanceallowance in the amount equal to national scholarship for native students regardleis of academicperformance

The applications can be submitted on-line and are considered based on motivati'on letterand essayaswell as academic merit and non-academic achievements.

Prior to the enrollment to SPbu, the University forwards the list of preliminary selected applicants tothe Ministry of Education and science of the Russian Federation for rpprouai,,i.*. irruing'Ministry,sReferral Letter, and for ensuring further visa support. i.e. issuing a letter of invitation.
