Device Discovery

Device will appear under their respective OS tabs



GroupingManual Grouping• Thin clients, once discovered will appear in the left hand column of HP Device Manager.• Manual Grouping allows the user to create any type of grouping hierarchy

• Click on Edit scheme, select Manual scheme and Add a Scheme as Training, OK and Close.

• Click on Group by, highlight Manual Group and select Training

• Right click on the + next to the others folder, highlight Manual Group -> Add Folder and use your name as folder name, Ok to close

• Now drag and drop the thin client to your folder



DM Task TemplateHPDM represents each management function with a template. Each template contains the default values for that function. Whenever a template is applied to a set of Thin Clients, the Task Editor will open. This provides the opportunity to edit these default values• Pre-defined Templates are pre-fix with “_”
