In 1986 Piega was founded by Leo Greiner and Kurt Scheuch. Today, Piega employs 20 people and works together with several partners for many years.

From the beginning, Piega has used its own ribbon tweeters which were developed by Kurt Scheuch and are still handcrafted and produced in Horgen.
