INTRODUCTION Simon Tibbett was first introduced to motorsport at the age of
twelve. It didn't take long before his interest in fast cars became a
passion. His first kart race came a year later driving a rental kart. After
a summer of doing yard work for neighbors, he could purchase his
own kart to fine tune his passion for driving more.
Tibbett has competed in numerous events ranging from the
Red Bull Formula One Driver Search to the famous “The Mitty”
historic sportscar race where he was a multiple time class winner.
Other wins include class wins at the American Road Race of
Champions, SCCA Turkey Trot, and more. Simon’s first appearance in
pro-am racing was in the Creventic 24H Series at the Circuit of the
Americas where he finished 2nd in the BMW Cup 1 class with Sorg
Rennsport from Germany.
Simon is currently earning a bachelor’s degree in business
management with a minor in marketing. He’s an avid cyclist and
health advocate. He is fully supported in his motorsport career by
wife Haley Tibbett.
