• Art Nouveau, Modern style or noodle style is an artistic movement of the late
nineteenth and early twentieth century that is based on the aesthetics of
curved lines. The Manufacture Normand is reissuing its Art Nouveau collection,
in sandstone, unfreezing, for a garden, indoor, outdoor collection. An art
nouveau spirit, revisited, with effect enamels, as in vogue in this rich era, a black
earth, gold, silver…
• Appearing in the early 1890s, we can consider that from 1905, Art Nouveau had
already given the best of itself and that its peak is reached. Before the First
World War, this movement evolved into a more geometric style, characteristic
of the artistic movement that took over: Art Deco (1910-1940).
