"France in the Information Society"
France's entry into the Information Society is one of the Prime Minister's priorities, as stated in a decisive speech he delivered on August 25th, 1997. After a ministerial committee meeting on January 16th, 1998, the Government released its action plan for France's entry into the Information Society.
On January 19th 1999, Lionel Jospin reviews a year of government action and announces important new measures.
