With theseeconomic times, we are offering dis-counts that allow visitors to experiencea Louisiana-style holiday at affordablerates.”

Some of the events across the fiveregions that visitors will find include:

Sportsman’s Paradise: Kick offthe holiday season with a fireworksshow at December on the Red in Shreve-port-Bossier City, and celebrate Christ-mas on the Ouachita in Monroe-WestMonroe

Crossroads: Natchitoches’ Fes-tival of Lights has been attracting crowdsto the historic city for almost 100 yearsoffering a “Steel Magnolias” style Christ-mas

Cajun Country: Lafayette, LakeCharles, Houma, St. Landry, Vermillionand Jeff Davis Parishes offer the au-thentic celebration of Cajun and CreoleChristmas traditions and feature thelighting of the village in Opelousas,Tasha Tudor’s Spirit of the Holidays andChristmas in Vermillion, “the most Cajunplace on earth”

In The Spirit of The Holidaysat New Orleans Clubs

Holiday festivities in The BigEasy are moving into highgear. Blowouts for Orlando's

Society Page, 4 Seasons, Billy's,Double Play, Cafe Lafitte's, GoodFriends Bar and Rawhide have alreadybeen held.

On Wednesday, December 17, Oz,800 Bourbon Street, will host its annualChristmas Party from 8-10pm. Admit-tance is an unwrapped toy for a child inneed. In addition to fabulous food andfriends, the club will host its special X-mas Show on stage at 10:30pm.

Thursday, December 18th bringsthe first Christmas Party for 700 Club,700 Burgundy at St. Peter. Hosted 7-9pm, the club offers complimentarydrinks and a scrumptious buffet. Admit-tance here is a suggested $5 minimumdonation to Project Lazarus.

On the same night, December 18th,The Corner Pocket (940 St. Louis atBurgundy) is hosting its annual Christ-mas Party from 8-10pm. It promisesfun, food, prizes and lots of boys.

FourPlay hits the stage atJohnPaul's, 940 Elysian Fields, on Fri-day, December 19th, 9pm. FeaturingEntertainer of the Year Elizabeth Bou-vier, King Cake Queen XVI-Elect TamiTarmac, Lauren Brown and Cathy Fox,the show is hosted by Gary Glitter.

Over in Slidell at Billy's, 2600 Hwy.190 West, it's Princesse Stephaney'sChristmas Show on December 19th aswell at 10:30pm starring Bambi, Sherryand Tiffany Lashay.

Back in New Orleans at Voila, 300Decatur Street, on December 19th isThe Christmas Ball starring Force FeedRadio, DJ Kemistry and DJ Jive.
