EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

DESIGN OF ACCOUNTING CYCLE IN CONTROLLING, RECORDING,

AND REPORTING IN PT CENDANA FOOD INDONESIA

As the time goes by in the era of globalization, recording activities for accounting are no longer carried out manually. In this era of digitalization demands computerization, as well as the technology demands the company to utilize the computerization. Therefore the purpose of this practical work is to provide the system for PT Cendana Food Indonesia in accounting cycle recording. In previous, PT Cendana Food Indonesia only used Microsoft Excel for recording the transaction, so that it was considered less effective and efficient. Practical work is held in the period of 1 June 2018 – 30 November 2018. During the practical word, data collection methods used were interview and observation method with owner and employee of the company.

The system submitted in practical work is based on Microsoft Access. It is arranged according to the company needs that are use to record a company transactions, and produce a reports, from the beginning of the transaction until reporting for company.
