    The author of the article analyzes how A.S. Lappo-Danilevskys phenomenological concept of historical knowledge in source studies, created by him at the dawn of the 20th century, was perceived and developed by Scholarly and Pedagogical School of source studies through 19392011. The School was based upon the Chamber of source studies and supporting historical disciplines at the History and Archives Institute of The Russian State University for the Humanities (Moscow), which after the Chambers dropping-out consolidated on the basis of the site http://ivid.ucoz.ru .

    University. Bulgarian students appeared there as early as at the edge of the 1840s1850s, and in 1852 Spiridon Palauzov defended his Masters thesis under the guidance of I.I. Sreznevsky. During subsequent decades Dimitry Blagoev, Atanas Shopov, and V.N. Zlatarsky studied at the University.
