Principal, Gene lleniser IS completing his fourth y ar as principal of the Frankton High School. He has proved to the student body that one can be a friend yet still demand respect.
Marguerite M11ler is one of those persons who IS always in demand. Her service to the school in her fourteen years as clerk and registrar is certainly apprec iated by all who work with her at F. H. S.
FHS BECOMES PART OF A METRO DISTRICT IN THE YEAR '64
The school year 1964-65 is one winch we shall all remember as the year of the formation of the Metropolitan School District. Four townships make up the Central Metropolitan School District of Madison County - Union, Richland, Lafayette, and Pipccreek. The school board selected Dale Prough as the new superintendent of the newly formed district. To be sure there was a little confusion at first but with efficient direction, this was limited to the very minimun. The Board consists of Raymond Poor, treas . ; Waldo Canaday, president; Verle Miller, secretary; Dale Prough, Superintendent; and Clark Burns, treasurer.

AN EFFICIENT STAFF KEEPS STUDENTS HAPPY
Alberta Land, Selma Huth, Edith Waymire, and Pe arl Whetsel clear the steam table after a heavy schedule of serving.
"Look the other way or you won 't get those d1shes clean, boys. " Student helpers, R. Covington, D. Cloud, and S. Cobble, save the cooks the task of washing dishes .
The kitchen staff of Frankton High have spent long hours in devising and preparing meals. Mrs. Andrew, supervisor of both Frankton cafeterias, has provided the students with well-balanced lunches.
Before, during, and after school hours, 1r. and Mrs. Henderson have been on the
job keeping the building clean and wellcared for.
Mr. and Mrs. Henderson have been with F.H. S. since moving into the new building.

Advertising staff prepare for "Operation Strike" by getting the 'lay of the land' from the director of the operation, Sterrett L. Nash, advisor, who points out from the drawing of the city just where each group will solicit. Pictured are P. Lewellen, E. Heaton, J. Allen, T. Westrick, A. Todd, T. Thompson, S. John, J. Hoppes, M. Swart, J. Thomas, T. Waymire, S. Pruitt, B. Jarrett, D. Shetterly.
Advertising Staff Responsibilities Make Eaglite
A Possibtlity
The advertising staff began the work of soliciting ads for the 1965 EAGLITE early in August. A planning se sion was held at which time instruction was given as to method of approach, pre enting the plan, securing the ad, signing the contract, and closing the interview.
After the first day of soliciting, the group agree<l that the experience was a learning experience and very worth while. Many of the group are second year solicitors having enjoyed the experience the first year enough to want to repeat it.
Susan Spoo and Linda Staley meet the customer, explain their cause, sign the contract, and are on their way.
