Grace of Penza

Olesia was born in Penza region, on January 2, 1984. She became a pupil of the Penza oblast specialized youth school of the Olympic reserve in gymnastics in 1987. In 1996 Olesia started to participate in Russian Championships.

In 2001, 2003, 2006 she became the champion of Europe in group exercises, and in 2003, 2005 a world champion. She took part at the 2004 Olympics and deserved a gold medal in rhythmic group competition. Co-ordinated team work and grace of our young gymnasts charmed the referees as well as the spectators. Elena Posevina, Olga Glatskikh, Tatiana Kurbakova, Natalia Lavrova, Olesia Belugina and Elena Murzina won fame as the most fascinating gymnasts.

Now she does not take part in sports competitions. She is a trainer.

A brilliant trainer! She dedicates her life to sport. She spends a lot of time on training her pupils, judging fairly at competitions and sharing her experience with young sportsmen. Isn’t it a key to success?
