นกเรยนรจก Pronoun (คาสรรพนาม) รปตางๆ มาบางแลว สรรพนามทงหลาย

อาจแบงออกตามการใชไดเปนชดๆ ดงน

(ii) กรยา do, come, eat, run, ect , ตองเตม s (หรอ es ) ใน present Simple เมอใช

กบประธาน He, She, If และคานามเอกพจน เชน

He comes here every day. เขามาทนทกวน

A cats eats fish. แมวกนปลา

แตเราใช They come here every day. (come ไมเตม s)

Cats eat fish. ( eat ไมเตม s)

(iii )must (ตอง)และ can (สามารถ) ใชไดกบประธานทกตว โดยไมเปลยนรป ไมมการ

เตม s และรปยอตดกบ not คอ mustn’t และ can’t (รปเดมคอ cannot เขยนตดกน)

I can (can, t) do that. ผมทาสงนนได (ไมได)

I must (mustn’t) do that. ผมตอง (ตองไม) ทาสงนน

Object รปกรรม

1. ใชหลงคากรยา แสดงผทถกกระทา (กรรม)

I like you. ฉนชอบเธอ

They see us. พวกเขาเหนเรา

We know them well. พวกเรารจกพวกเขาด

2. ใชหลงคาบพบท (Preposition) ตางๆ เชน with (กบ), to (ยง,ถง) from (จาก), for(

สาหรบ,เพอ)

His brother is coming with him.

พของเขากาลงมากบเขา

She sends a letter to him every week.

เธอสงจดหมายมาใหเขาทกอาทตย

I have something for you.

นอกจากนยงมคากรยาจานวนมากทใชตดกบคาบพบทเสมอ เหมอนกบเปนคาเดยวกน

เชน

Think of คดถง look at มอง(ท) Listen to ฟง belong to เปนของ

Wait for คอย talk about พดคยเกยวกบ

I always think of you. ฉนคดถงคณเสมอ

Please listen to me. โปรดฟงฉน

I’ll wait for you. ฉนจะคอยคณ

This pen belong to me. ปากกานเปนของฉน

Note

เราสามารถสลบทสรรพนามกรรมหลง to กบกรรมทเปนคานามได 1เชน

She send a letter to him every week.

= She send him a letter every week. (to หายไป)

I’ll show the ring to her.

= I’ll show her the ring. (to หายไป )

Exercise 5A

จงขดเสนใตรปประธานหรอรปกรรมทถกตองในวงเลบ

Exercise 5B

จงเขยนประโยคใหมโดยเปลยนประธานเปนกรรม และเปลยนกรรมเปนประธาน

(ตองใชกรยาตามประธานตวใหม)

Exmples: They see her often. He’s thing about her.

-She sees them often -She’s thinking about him.

Possessive Adjectives

โดยปกตเราใช Possessive Adjectives หนาคานาม (หรอหนาคณศพทอกท

หนง)

My father has a lot of books in his room.

คณพอของฉนมหนงสอจานวนมากในหองของเขา

Your dog has some black spots on its ears.

สขนขของคณมจดสดาบนหของมน

Her new car is red.

รถคนใหมของเขา (ผหญง) สแดง

ในบางครง เราใช own (=ของ…เอง) ตามหลง Possessive Adjectives

เพอเนนวาเปนของคนนนคนน ไมใชของผอน

This is my own house. บานนเปนบานของฉนเอง

He has own car. เขามรถของเขาเอง

They have their own. พวกเขามเครองมอของพวกเขาเอง

It is your own fault. มนเปนความผดของคณเอง

จงเตม Possessive Adjectives ใหสอดคลองกบประธาน

Example: My father has a hat on his head.

1.My mother a ribbon in her hair.

2.My brother has some money in his hand.

4.Your son has a knife in his bag.

จงเตม Possessive Adjective +own ตามความเหมาะสม

Example : I have my own car .

Possessive Pronouns

Possessive Pronoun (mine, yours, hers, etc.)สมารถใชลอยๆได แตโดย

ปกตเราจะใชกตอเมอมคานามวางนาหนาอยกอนแลว มฉะนนเราจะมาทราบวา

Possessive Pronoun นนใชแทนคานามอะไร

The red book is his. หนงสอสแดงเปนของเขา

= The red book is his book.

The green book is mine หนงสอสเขยวเปนของฉน

= The green book is my book.

My cat is playing with yours. แมวของฉนกาลงเลนกบ (แมว)ของคณ

= My cat is playing with your cat

Their house is next to ours . บานของเขาอยถด (บาน)ของเราไป

= Their house is next to our house.

Possessive Pronoun ใชเปนประธานหรอกรรมกได (เหมอนคานาม)

I like your school but I prefer ours.

ฉนชอบโรงเรยนของพวกคณ แตฉนชอบของพวกเรามากกวา

Ours (=our school) เปนกรรมของ prefer

There are two books. Yours is red. Mine is white

หนงสอสองเลม ของคณสแดง ของฉนสขาว

Yours (=your book) เปนประธานของ is (red)

Mine (= my book ) เปนประธานของ is (white)

Possessive Forms of Nouns

วธทาคานามทเปนสงมชวตใหอยในรปแสดงความเปนเจาของ (ของเดกชาย ,

ของคร ฯลฯ) มดงน

1. โดยปกต s หลงนามเอกพจนทกตว (แมนามนนจะลงทายดวย s ) เชน

The boy’s book หนงสอของเดกชาย

My father’s office ททางานของคณพอฉน

The princess’s dress ชดกระโปรงของเจาหญง

Dick’s bicycle รถจกรยานของดค

James’s hat หมวกของเจมส

(‘s ทเตมหลง s ออกเสยง “ อส” เชน James’s อานวา เจมมส The

princess’s เดอะพรนเซสซส)

2. เราเตมเพยงเครอง (‘) หลงนามพหพจนทลงทายดวย s เชน

The boys’ books หนงสอของพวกเดกชาย

My parents’ room หองของคณพอคณแมของฉน

Those tourists’ bags กระเปาของนกทศนาจรเหลานน

The Smiths’ car รถยนตของครอบครวสมธ

The Joneses’ new maid สาวใชคนใหมของครอบครว

ถานามพหพจนนนไมไดลงทายดวย s กคงเตม ‘s ตามปกต เชน

Men’s clothes เสอผาของผชาย

The children’s room หองของพวกเดกๆ

The people’s rights สทธของประชาชน

3. เราสามารถใชรปแสดง Possessive ของนามตามลาพงโดยไมมนาม

ตามหลง (เหมอน Possessive Pronoun)

The red book is Tom’s หนงสอเลมสแดงเปนของทอม

(= The red book is Tom’s book.)

The green book is Jane’s หนงสอเลมสเขยวเปนของเจน

(= The green book is Jane’s book)

และควรสงเกตการใชกรยา belong to ( = เปนของ)+กรรม (นาม

หรสรรพนาม)ซงแสดงความหมายอยางเดยวกน

The red book is Tom’s

= The red book belong to Tom.

The new bicycle is his.

= The new bicycle belong to him.

Remember

การแสดงความเปนเจาของสาหรลสงไมมชวต ใช of (=ของ) เสมอ เชน

The bank of the river ฝงของแมนา

The branches of the tree กงของตนไม

The depth of the river ความลกของแมนา

Exercise 5E

จงเขยนประโยคโดยใชรป Possessive Pronoun หรอรป Possessive ของ Noun

Examples : This book belong to me.

- This book is mine

The white cats belong to Tom.

-The white cats are Tom’s.

1.This car belong to me. This car is mine .

2.That bicycle belong to him. That bicycle is his

3.These chairs belong to us. These chairs are ours.

4.Those English books belong to her. Those English books are hers.

5.The white hat belong to you. The white hat is yours.

6.The red ties belong to them. The red ties are theirs.

7.That beautiful car be long to Charles. That beautiful car is Charles’s

8.These children belong to the Smiths. These children are the Smiths.

9.Those new dresses belong to Prance. Those new dresses are Pranee’s

จงขดเสนใตรปของคาทถกตองในวงเลบ

Examples : This book belong to (me, mine, my).

This pencil is (me, mine, my).

1. That small house belongs to (me, mine , my).

2. These children belong to (them, their, theirs).

3. Those cats belong to (you, your, yours).

4. That new bicycle is (her, hers, she).

5. These roses are (me, mine, my).

6. That little cat is (he, his, him).

7. Does that hat belong to (her, hers, she)?

8. Do that hat belong to (us, our, ours)?

9. Are those hens (our, ours, us) or not?

10. That beautiful house belong to (the Smiths, the smiths, Smiths)

11. The flowers belong to ( Pranee , Pranee’s, the Pranee)

12. Doesn’t that new car belong to (he, him, his)

14. That isn’t (Dick, Dick’s, the Dick) dog. It’s Tom’s.

15. Those noisy children are ( Smiths, Smith’s, the Smiths)!

Exercise 5G

จงเขยนประโยคใหม โดยแทนคานามทพมพดวยตวเอนดาดวย Possessive Pronoun

Examples : I’ll bring my shoes. Please bring your shoes too.

-I’ll bring my shoes. Please bring your too.

These are our pens. Their pens are on the table.

-These are our pens. There are on the table.

1. This is his pencil. Where is my pencil?

2. His family is big. Our family is small.

3. I love my friends. I love your friends too.

4. He’ll bring his parents. She’ll bring her parents too.

5. This is his car. Isn’t that her car?

6. My name is John. Please tell me your name.

7. I shall bring my book. Will he bring his book?

8. Our garden has red roses. Their garden has no roses.

9. Their house is next to my house.

10. Put your chair behind her chair.

11. Don’t put your things with our things.

12. Will you go in our car or in their car?

13. This is your pen. Where is my pen ?

14. Their children are dancing with my children.

15. Don’t think of his problem. Think of your problem.

โดยปกต ถาคานามม a หรอ some นาหนาอยแลว เชน a friend (เพอนคนหนง) , a book

(หนงสอเลมหนง) , some children (เดกๆ กลมหนง) เราจะใช my, your, his, etc. นาหนาคานาม

นนๆ อกไมได

ถาตองการจะพดวา “เพอนคนหนงของฉน” หรอ “หนงสอของเขาเลมหนง” ตองใช a

โดยปกตการใช Possessive Pronoun ในแบบ a friend of mine น มกจะมคณศพทขยายนามตว

หนาอยดวย และเราอาจใช this, that, these, those แทน a, an และ some ไดดวย เชน

an old friend of mine

that old friend of mine

those old friends of mine

etc.

Exercise 5 H

A จงเขยนประโยคใหมโดยใช a, an + noun + of + Possessive Pronoun แทน

Possessive Adjective + noun ทพมพดวยตวเอนดา

Examples : My Friend is coming today.

- A friend of mine is coming today.

That boy is Tom’s cousin.

- That boy is a cousin of Tom’s.

2. My uncle lives in your town. An uncle of mine lives in your town.

3. Her friend is coming from America. A friend of hers is coming from America.

4. Our servant is going home in the country2. A servant of ours is going home in the

country.

5. Their aunt speaks French very well. An aunt of theirs French very well.

6. He’s staying with his friend in town. He’s staying with a friend of his in town.

7. I met your nephew yesterday. I met a nephew of yours yesterday.

8. I’ll invite my cousin to dinner. I’ll invite a cousin of mine to dinner.

9. He’ll sell his old horse tomorrow. (=He’ll sell an…) He’ll sell an old horse of his

tomorrow.

10. That boy isn’t my son. That boy isn’t a son of mine.

11. Tom’s old friend is coming to see him. An old friend of Tom’s is coming to see him.

12. James’s sister lives in Thailand. A sister of James’s lives in Thailand.

13. This is Jane’s great idea1. This is a great idea of Jane’s.

14. I’ll see Dick’s brother tomorrow. I’ll see a brother of Dick’s tomorrow.

15. That policeman is my father’s cousin. That policeman is a cousin of my father’s.

1 หายไป, ขาดไป 2 ( to, in ) the country = (ไป, ใน) ชนบท, บานนอก

B จงเขยนประโยคใหมโดยใช some + noun + of + Possessive Pronoun แทน Possessive

Adjective + noun ทพมพดวยตวเอนดา

Examples : My friends are coming today.

- Some friends of mine are coming today.

Tom’s books are missing.

- Some books of Tom’s are missing .

1. My books are in your bag. Some books of mine are in your bag.

2. Our servants are going home in the country. Some servant of ours are going home in

the country.

3. His friends have Siamese cats. Some friends of his have Siamese cats.

4. I’ll invite my cousins to dinner. I’ll invite some cousins of mine to dinner.

5. He’ll buy their cows tomorrow. He’ll buy some cows of theirs tomorrow.

6. Those are his great ideas. Those are some great ideas of his.

7. She gives him her roses every day. She gives him some roses of hers every day.

8. These are Henry’s old friends. These are some old friends of Henry’s

9. Those are the Smiths’ children. Those are some children of the Smiths’

10. I want to but Mr Taylor’s horses. I want to buy some horses of Mr taylor’s.
