NOTICE is hereby given that the Cockburn RoadBoard proposes to borrow the sum of £7,000 to beexpended on works and undertakings in the Cock-burn Road Board District, the said works beingroad construction, road widening, re-grading, re-construction and bitumen surfacing, concrete kerb-ing and storm water drainage.

All particulars showing the proposed expenditureof the money to be borrowed are open for theinspection of ratepayers at the office of the Board,during office hours, for one month after the lastpublication of this notice.

The amount of £7,000 is proposed to be raisedby the sale of debentures repayable with interestby 40 half-yearly instalments over a period of20 years after the date of issue thereof, in lieuof the formation of a sinking fund.
