This course introduces the new and enhanced features in VMware vSphere® 5.0.

With this release, the VMware virtual datacenter operating system continues to transform x86 IT infrastructure into an efficient, shared, on-demand utility, with built-in availability, scalability, and security services for all applications and simple, proactive automated management.

After this course, you should be able to do the following:

List and describe key enhancements in vSphere 5.0.

Upgrade a VMware® deployment from vSphere 4.1 to vSphere 5.0.
