Background
It’s a grass-roots, Spanish-English, national campaign by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) to create mass awareness of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and higher education opportunities for Hispanics.
SHPE Noche de Ciencias (Family Science Night) is a bilingual program for Hispanic parents and pre-college youth targeting Hispanic communities across the United Status.
Goal to reach 100 communities and touch 10,000 Latino minds annually.
In the Silicon Valley, this will be our 7th Noche de Ciencias since 2008.
